    Local bike advocate Steve Mitchell is back on SCTV with his latest show on biking in which he goes over the mountain to Hartford to interview Sara Bronin (Luke Bronin’s wife) who heads Hartford’s Planning and Zoning Commission. But first he sits down here in Simsbury with the new Executive Director of Bike Walk Connecticut Adina Giannelli and Laura Russotto who is Squadron Line Safe Routes to School Coordinator. You’ll learn what Bike Walk CT is, as well as what Simsbury schools are doing to encourage walking and biking to school. In part 2, you’ll meet Sara Bronin who is deeply involved in Hartford’s efforts to encourage biking and hear about Hartford’s recent Bronze Level designation from the League of American Bicyclists. The show airs today (2/23) on Xfinity Channel 5 and Frontier 99 at 3:30 and 10:30 pm but you can watch it anytime on line at:
